SUMMER CAMP CANCELED

The prevailing situation in Sweden and in the rest of the world, due to the covid 19 pandemic, makes it impossible for us to train under normal conditions and circumstances.

 

In order to reduce the risk of spreading the corona virus, we must, among other things, follow the rules, recommendations, etc. developed by the Public Health Authority and other authorities. The board of Swedish Karatedo Wadokai have followed the continued development and can ascertain that the restrictions will continue to apply for some time to come.

 

Because of the above, we therefore find it impossible to carry out this year's summer camp. The summer camp that was scheduled to be held over the weekend of June 26 - 28 is hereby canceled.

 

We can now hope that the measures taken will lead to a reduced spread of the virus and that the situation in the country can return to normal as soon as possible.

 

Despite the current situation, we hope that you and your club members do not despair but try to keep up training as well as possible, even though the training is now mostly on your own.

 

Here in Gothenburg we have tried to keep the group training going in smaller groups outdoors and without close contact.

 

SKW's next planned event is Winter Camp 2020 (December 4-6) in Herrljunga which we really hope will not be hindered by Covid-19, so do not forget to book these dates.

 

We from the Swedish karate Wadokai board wish you all a very nice summer and don't forget to take care of each other.
