Activities of Samurai-dojo

Karateklubb Samurai-dojo (KSD) has the basic ideology to contribute to the society with a meaningful and healthy activity for everybody. It would be the greatest pleasure of KSD if those who train Karate at KSD will feel better in some way either/both physically and mentally and have a better and happier life.

Karate for everybody

Karate is not only for the elite who train hard and join various competitions but also for everybody. Karate is a good method to keep your body in shape. Anybody, young and old, men and women, can train Karate at KSD. Karate is for you. KSD even has children groups, senior groups etc.

Daily training

The most important thing is that one should train regularly; once a week, twice a week, three times a week.... You can choose by yourself. At KSD you can train up to 7 days a week. You can train Karate in group or by yourself in front of the mirror.

Karate for both physical and intellectual

In Karate both physical and intellectual parts are important. In daily training you can get physical training. Through membership magazine 'Svenska Wadokai', there is a possibility to study Karate in an intellectual manner.


KSD arranges various competitions. We do not regard competitions most important. Competition is a way to encourage daily training. KSD arranges both private and open competitions.

Training Camps

At training camps you can train more intensively and get to know a lot of new people. Training camps are arranged by Swedish Karatedo Wadokai to which many KSD members participate. KSD arranges training camps for kids.
